Role: Senior Video Director
Creativebug is a subscription based educational platform with thousands of award-wining classes taught by top designers and artists. As the Senior Video Director, I oversee a team responsible for directing, shooting and editing video footage for classes and live shoots. We release 4 to 5 new classes a month, as well as, supplemental content. Bringing my creative vision to visual storytelling, I create craft content that is direct, engaging and approachable for beginners.
I set up, direct and live switch studio lives, broadcasting to our website and/or Facebook. We do these studio lives monthly, with a new artist and technique/craft each time. Sometimes the content is more directional/tutorial based, and sometimes it's more conversational. Live, in camera editing is fun and a skill I am proud to have.
